The weeks that decide everything, handled properly
Counselling is short, fast and unforgiving of a badly ordered option list. Gandharva works through it with you, step by step, with the reasoning written down.
Everything counselling actually involves
Rank and college prediction
Where your rank has historically been able to reach.
College discovery
Search, filter and compare medical colleges in one place.
Counselling guidance
Round-by-round support through AIQ, state, deemed and private.
Choice filling support
Your option list, ordered deliberately and explained.
Quota and eligibility checks
Rural, Kannada medium, 371(J), NCC, defence, sports and PwD.
Document support
Checklists and verification help before the deadline, not after.
Parent guidance
A written plan the family can read, question and agree on.
Admission support
Reporting, joining and upgrade decisions handled with you.
The things families ask us first
You enter your NEET score or rank along with your category, quota and domicile. We compare that position against the closing ranks published by counselling authorities in previous years, for the same quota, category and round. Colleges are then grouped as Dream, Target or Safe based on how far your rank sits from those historical closing positions.
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. Every result is an estimate based on historical data. The actual outcome depends on this year's applicants, the seat matrix, category movement and the authority's own rules. We show you the data behind each estimate so you can judge it yourself.
All India Quota is 15% of the seats in state government medical colleges, plus seats in central institutions, filled through national counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. Anyone eligible for NEET UG can compete for these seats regardless of which state they live in.
State Quota is the remaining 85% of seats in state government medical colleges, filled by each state's own counselling authority. Eligibility usually depends on domicile, schooling or other state-specific rules, which differ from state to state.
After results, each authority opens registration, then choice filling, then locking. Seats are allotted in rounds. If you accept a seat you report to the college; if you stay in the process you may be upgraded in a later round. The order of your choices matters enormously, and most avoidable losses happen there.
Basic covers guidance on every entrance exam and filing your applications. Standard is for engineering: JEE and CET applications through NTA and KEA counselling to final admission reporting, a 2-year service. Premium is for medical students: every medical entrance application and MCC, AACCC, KEA and VCI counselling, a 1-year service. Ultra Premium includes both, plus two years of scholarship assistance, a 3-year service. All fees are plus 18% GST, and the pricing page lists every inclusion line by line.
No. What you pay Gandharva is a service fee for guidance and counselling support only. College tuition, hostel charges, counselling registration fees, security deposits and every other official payment are separate, go to the college or the authority, and are never collected by us.
You book a conversation with a current medical student for a flat fee. You choose someone by college, course and year, and use the time to ask what a place is actually like — hostel, teaching, clinical exposure, city, cost. It is a conversation with a student, not official advice from the college.
Yes, and we would encourage it. Parents are usually the ones weighing cost and distance, so the plans, the fee breakdowns and the college shortlists are written to be read by a family together rather than by a student alone.
Typically your NEET scorecard and admit card, Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates, a photo identity document, domicile or residence proof where state quota applies, and category or income certificates where you are claiming a reservation. Requirements vary by authority, so your counsellor confirms your exact list before the deadline.
